Networking in the Workshop: Colourcube Accident Repair Centre Hosts Breakfast Networking Event.

Last week, we hosted a networking event in our workshop. Attendees enjoyed a delightful breakfast while connecting with other local businesses and discovering the excellent business support available in our area.

Both Lisa Whalley, Client Manager from the West Yorkshire Good Growth Program, and Rachael Thurlbeck, SME Growth Manager from Kirklees Council, joined us; each giving a presentation on the support available for businesses.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the team at West Yorkshire Good Growth for kindly sponsoring the breakfast for this event. Special thanks to James and the team at Swooshed Events Management for providing us the TV and lighting.

Director Liz Mayes commented:

“It’s not every day you hear of an Accident Repair Centre hosting a networking event in the workshop. I would like to say thank you to the businesses that attended. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive and we look forward to hosting more events like this in the future and continuing to support our local business community”.

Lisa Whalley, Client Manager from the West Yorkshire Good Growth Program Commented:

“It was great to be out on location at Colourcube Automotive in Lepton, hosted by Liz and Mike. The West Yorkshire Good Growth Programme had the privilege of chatting with some great businesses from the HD8/HD9 locality. We hope the information shared was useful and encourages other local businesses, who need expert support with the next stage of their business growth, to take advantage of all the funded support available!

It’s also great to work in close collaboration with Rachel Thurlbeck, the Growth Manager at Kirklees Council. Businesses told us, things always seem much simpler when you know, who the go to people are, for support that’s right for your business”.

Leanne Field, Director Of Pymroyd Services Commented:

“Thank you Colourcube for hosting the event, it was definitely eye opening as to what is available out there for businesses like ourselves, and we will be following up some of the leads this week. If it wasn’t for your networking event, we would never would have known about these available opportunities, thank you”.

Shaun from Fox Engravers commented:

“The recent networking event at Colourcube was informative, concise and pitched at exactly the right level for the businesses in attendance. Although there was a variety of businesses it was evident that we were all in a similar position regarding next stage growth plans. This meant conversations following the presentations were totally relevant”.
