We Did It!
What an unforgettable journey! We’ve officially completed the Race Across West Yorkshire, and what a challenge it’s been. From the mystery of not knowing where we were going next, to the highs and lows along the way, every moment was worth it for an amazing cause.
A huge thank you to the team at RRG Toyota Huddersfield and the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice for organising such a fantastic and memorable event. You made this whole adventure possible and kept us going every step of the way!
And the best part? The 20 teams that took parts in the Race Across West Yorkshire helped raise just over £40,000 for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice
Forget Me Not provides essential care and support for children and families in West Yorkshire facing unimaginable challenges, and we’re so proud to have played a part in raising funds for such an incredible charity.
We also want to say a big thank you to all the wonderful people we met along the way, those who helped us with directions, gave us top tips, and even gave us lifts when we hitchhiked. Your kindness and support made the journey even more special!
We couldn’t have done this without the generous support of everyone who donated. Every penny will go directly to supporting the families who need it most, ensuring they get the love, care and hope they deserve.
The folowing Monday we came together to celebrate at The H Town Bar at St John Smith’s Stadium.
Congratlatuions fo the winning team know as Baby Reindeers from FMG.
Although we didn’t win, we did win the award for ‘Best Mascot’.
